Loftvex Catalog Risk Audit Documentation
Last updated: March 15, 2026
Use Loftvex Catalog Risk Audit when catalog QA has become recurring operational work.
The app helps teams find risky product records, reduce false positives with saved rules, and turn findings into repeatable cleanup workflows.
Evaluating a newer app before trusting it? Start with the public demo, sample CSV, and browser-only tools before installing. When you are ready, the first Shopify run is a free read-only audit using product access for catalog checks.
- No product writes: Loftvex does not edit products, variants, inventory, collections, orders, customers, or payments.
- No surprise paid start: paid plans use Shopify-managed approval screens, and the free plan is available for the first cleanup pass.
- Clear first value: run the audit, review high-severity findings, and export a CSV cleanup handoff if the output is useful.

Core capabilities
- Severity-based catalog issue detection
- Configurable audit thresholds and exclusions
- Audit history and trend tracking
- CSV export of findings
- Recurring monitoring on supported plans
Sample output
Need to see the handoff file before installing? Download a sample CSV cleanup export with example SKU, barcode, image, duplicate-SKU, and description findings.
Common use cases
- Pre-launch catalog cleanup before a new sales channel, feed, or marketplace workflow
- Monthly product data QA for stores that add or edit products frequently
- Agency cleanup projects where findings need to be exported and assigned
- Inventory and fulfillment checks focused on SKU, barcode, price, and oversell-risk fields
Typical workflow
- Install the app in Shopify Admin
- Adjust audit rules for the store’s catalog standards
- Click Run audit to scan the current catalog
- Review findings by severity
- Click Export CSV when the cleanup work needs to become a handoff file, or track issues over time with history and monitoring
First-audit decision path
- If high-severity SKU, price, or duplicate-SKU findings appear, fix those before feed, marketplace, or fulfillment work.
- If missing images, short descriptions, missing barcodes, or oversell-risk advisories dominate, export the CSV and assign cleanup by product owner, vendor, or agency.
- If the same issue types return after cleanup, enable monitoring and keep history so recurring catalog drift is visible.
- If the first scan finds only a few low-risk issues, stay on the free plan until catalog work becomes recurring.
