Last updated: May 23, 2026

Fastest useful step: run the free browser SKU checker first. No Shopify access, no login, no credit card. Know your store domain? You can start the live read-only scan from here too.

Run free SKU checker · Download sample CSV · Free plan: 3 audits per month when you install.

Find missing SKUs, duplicate SKUs, and barcode gaps before they become fulfillment, feed, or inventory cleanup work.

Loftvex Catalog Risk Audit scans Shopify product variants with read-only access, then gives you a prioritized issue list and a CSV cleanup handoff.

What the audit checks

Missing SKUs

Variants without SKU values are flagged so fulfillment, reporting, CSV updates, and inventory work have stable identifiers.

Duplicate SKUs

Repeated SKU values are surfaced before they collide during bulk edits, warehouse handoff, or product-feed cleanup.

Missing barcodes

Barcode and GTIN gaps are called out for stores where channel feeds, retail workflows, or marketplace uploads expect identifiers.

When this page is the right fit

What happens after install

  1. Install from the Shopify App Store with Shopify OAuth.
  2. Open the embedded app and click Run audit.
  3. Review high-severity SKU findings first, then barcode advisories.
  4. Click Export CSV when the cleanup work needs to become an assignable task list.

No external Loftvex login is required. The app uses Shopify-managed install and billing flows, and its core catalog scan uses read-only product access.
